For the expansion of our team, we are looking for a Junior Embedded Systems Engineer with up to 2 years of experience (recent graduates are also welcome).

A strong willingness to learn, take on new challenges on a daily basis, and a collaborative and proactive approach to task management are essential.

The ideal candidate should live within approximately 1 hour by car from the company headquarters.
The workplace is Ferrara (FE), at the E.S.T.E. Srl headquarters.

Activities

 
The candidate will be actively involved in the development of embedded applications for the control of electronic systems in automotive, agricultural, heavy-duty, and industrial domains.
Main activities include:

• Firmware development in C (low-level drivers, BSP, applications);
• Development of PC applications and tools with C++;
• Preparation of technical documentation to support project activities;
• Execution of testing and validation activities for project commissioning.

Requirements

 
We require:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, obtained within the last 3 years;
• Excellent knowledge of the C programming language
• Strong ability to understand hardware schematics;
• Good written and spoken English skills;
• Availability for occasional short business trips.

Nice to have (additional value):

• Previous work experience in the automotive, railway, agricultural, or heavy-duty sectors;
• Knowledge of MISRA C guidelines;
• Knowledge of safety standards such as ISO 26262 or ISO 13849;
• Experience with CAN, I2C, SPI, Flash, and USB peripherals;
• Experience in driver and BSP development;
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M and Cortex-A microcontrollers.
